Cervical Cancer affects over 14,000 women per year in the United States. The age of cervical cancer varies, but in the United States the average age of diagnosis is 50 years old.  In many cases, this is a curative disease, however in advanced stages the five year survival is less than 50%.

Fidelis Care has awarded Neighborhood Health Center of WNY $8,000 to assist in their efforts to address the digital divide some patients have experienced during the pandemic. The funds will help provide access to technology and services for patients to better communicate with their health care providers.

Fidelis Care has awarded Northwell Health a $25,000 grant to help support continued efforts targeting social determinants of health in diverse communities. The program is led by Northwell's Department of Community and Population Health.

Fidelis Care is once again providing vouchers for free groceries to help individuals and families across New York State have a hearty, healthy holiday meal. Nearly 14,000 vouchers, worth about $200,000, are being distributed to more than 900 agencies, schools, and organizations that partner with Fidelis Care statewide.
