Welcome, Navigators!

Fidelis Care, a leading health insurer that serves all of New York State, offers free or low-cost comprehensive health coverage, including Medicaid Managed Care, Child Health Plus, Essential Plan, and Ambetter from Fidelis Care Qualified Health Plans through NY State of Health, The Official Health Plan Marketplace. 

Managed Long Term Care products are also available for adults who qualify for nursing home care, but are capable of staying safely in their own homes with the right care and support. 

Fidelis Care also offers Medicare Advantage plans under the name of Wellcare By Fidelis Care.

Our statewide network consists of more than 80,000 providers, and we serve more than 2.4 million children and adults in all 62 counties. Navigators play a critical role by helping New Yorkers enroll in quality, affordable health coverage. Our Plans

  • Medicaid Managed Care: Medicaid Managed Care offers comprehensive coverage with no copays for covered services and no monthly premium for those who qualify.
  • Essential Plan: The Essential Plan is for New Yorkers who do not qualify for Medicaid or Child Health Plus, but still need access to quality care.
  • Child Health Plus: Child Health Plus (CHPlus) is a New York State-sponsored program that provides health insurance for kids under age 19.
  • Qualified Health Plans: Ambetter from Fidelis Care's Qualified Health Plans are available to qualifying families and individuals via NY State of Health, the Official Health Plan Marketplace.
  • HealthierLife (HARP): HealthierLife is Fidelis Care's Health and Recovery Plan (HARP) for qualifying Medicaid Managed Care members. This plan offers an enhanced benefit package for people who are eligible for Medicaid and have specific behavioral health needs.
  • Medicare Advantage: Wellcare By Fidelis Care Medicare Advantage Plans (Medicare Part C) include all the benefits offered by Medicare Parts A and B, plus additional benefits, all combined into one plan.
  • Medicaid Advantage Plus: Wellcare Fidelis Dual Plus is a health plan for individuals who have Medicare and Medicaid coverage. Enrollment in the program includes coverage for all of your Medicare and Medicaid services.
  • Fidelis Care at Home (MLTC): Fidelis Care at Home is a Managed Long Term Care (MLTC) plan for people who need long term care services and help to live independently in their own homes and communities.

    Make an Initial Payment

    Depending on the plan, members may need to make their first payment to activate their coverage. Members will need their NY State of Health Confirmation ID. Members can then use their Member Portal account to pay their monthly premium and set up AutoPay.

    Renew Your Coverage

    Health insurance is no longer being automatically renewed for members in our Medicaid Managed Care, Essential Plan, Child Health Plus, or HealthierLife (HARP) plans. Members will need to renew their health insurance to keep their coverage.
