Fidelis Care's seventh annual Backpack Heroes campaign ended Thursday with another great year: $106,888 was raised to help fight childhood hunger in the Capital Region.

Back-to-school season brings many emotions, as well as new routines for children and families. Earlier this month, Fidelis Care partnered with PM Pediatric Care to host a free webinar titled ”Beyond Back to School: Seasonal Patterns in Children's Health.” During the webinar, a panel of experts shared tips on helping children successfully return to school.

Fidelis Care and health care provider Upstate Family Health Center recently partnered for an event aimed at educating the public about a major change in the health insurance renewal process. At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the federal government provided New York State with additional federal funding to keep individuals covered under Medicaid, Child Health Plus, Essential Plan, and Managed Long Term Care. Those individuals now need to act to keep their health insurance.
