Wellcare Spendables^® Card

For individuals eligible for Medicare and Medicaid, our Dual Eligible Special Needs plans (D-SNPs)* are designed to help our members live better, healthier lives

Our D-SNP plans feature Wellcare Spendables which provides a preloaded card to use towards items shown below.

The Wellcare Spendables^® Card allows you to shop in store at participating retailers, online, mobile app or over the phone for your over-the-counter (OTC) items. You can use your card on a variety of OTC items, such as cold medicine, first aid supplies, and vitamins.

The Wellcare Spendables^® Card can be used to help reduce your out-of-pocket expenses for eligible dental, vision, and hearing services. See the plan’s Evidence of Coverage (EOC) for more information.

If eligible, you may also use the Wellcare Spendables^® Card towards the benefits below*

• Gas pay-at-pump
• Purchase of healthy food
• Utility and rent assistance
• Home improvement and safety items

Wellcare Spendables OTC, dental, vision and hearing allowance applies to all D-SNPs (Plans 001 and 003, 013-001 and 013-002).

*Benefits are part of Special Supplemental Benefits for the Chronically Ill (SSBCI). Not all members will qualify. All applicable eligibility requirements must be met before these benefits are provided. See the plan’s EOC for details.
