As part of a year-end push to improve medication adherence, WellCare and WellCare By Fidelis Care are offering an additional financial incentive (Incentive Payment Program) to its providers who use RxEffect® to identify and take action in the following Star ratings medication therapy areas in the treatment of their Wellcare and Wellcare By Fidelis Care members:

Fidelis Care would like to inform providers of recent updates to the Fidelis Care Medication Request Form, that is used for requesting Medication Prior Authorizations under either the Medical or Pharmacy Benefit.
The updated Fidelis Care Medication Request Form is available on www.fideliscare.org/pharmacy, in the Utilization Management Programs section (labeled Medication Request Form for Medicaid, HARP, CHP, Essential Plans, and Qualified Health Plans).
Please ensure your practice has the updated Fidelis Care Medication Request Form on file, and uses it for any future Medical Benefit or Pharmacy Benefit Medication Prior Authorization submissions to Fidelis Care.

Choosing Wisely is an initiative of the ABIM Foundation that seeks to advance a national dialogue on avoiding unnecessary medical tests, treatments, and procedures. Choosing Wisely provides learning modules for clinicians to enhance communication skills, avoid unnecessary testing and overcome barriers to delivering high-value care.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) requires that providers receive Medicare Special Needs Program (SNP) Model of Care (MOC) Training annually. As part of our ongoing commitment to access, quality of service, and quality of care for our members, Fidelis Care provides this training annually and during the new contract process to all network providers, as well as to providers who regularly see our SNP members.
The training module can be accessed by logging into our provider portal, please visit Provider Access Online. After logging in, if training and attestation is required, you will receive a notification on the Home Page.
