Celebrating National Health Center Week

National Health Center Week takes place from August 4-10, 2024. This weeklong event highlights the important role that Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) play in improving the health and well-being of underserved communities.

FQHCs are community-based clinics that offer primary care services in medically underserved areas. FQHCs address critical health disparities, promote preventive care, and remove barriers to affordable healthcare services.

Fidelis Care's partnerships with FQHCs are essential to achieving our mission. We are grateful for the many contributions of FQHCs and the role they play in achieving equitable, quality healthcare for all. Throughout the year, we collaborate with these clinics to help improve health outcomes across New York State. Fidelis Care is pleased to participate in several events across New York State to support National Health Center Week, including the following:

  • August 5: Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) Children's Health Center, Syracuse
  • August 5-9: East Hill Medical Center, Syracuse

  • August 7: Hometown Health Center, Albany
  • August 7: Community Health Center of Buffalo, Buffalo
  • August 7: Neighborhood Health Center at Northwest, Buffalo
  • August 7: Neighborhood Health Center- Riverway Niagara St., Buffalo
  • August 7: Neighborhood Health Center – Mattina, Buffalo
  • August 8: Syracuse Community Health Center - New Location 930 South Salina, Syracuse
  • August 9: Sun River Health Poughkeepsie Family Partnership Center, Albany
  • August 9: Oak Orchard Health- Brockport, Buffalo
  • August 10: Cornerstone Family Health Care of Newburgh, Albany
  • August 10: Community Health Center of Niagara, Buffalo
  • August 10: Oak Orchard Health – Hornell, Buffalo
