Important Changes for Essential Plan 200-250 Members

NY State of Health sent you a letter telling you about your coverage options after June 30. Because Essential Plan 200-250 was retired, you are most likely eligible for a Special Enrollment Period.

Your Essential Plan 200-250 coverage lasts until June 30, 2026. Continue to go to your doctor appointments and get your medications from your in-network pharmacy. Nothing about your insurance changes until July 1, 2026.

Your Essential Plan 200-250 coverage ends on June 30, 2026. It’s important to enroll in a new health plan, so doctor visits and screenings are covered in July and onward.

You could be eligible for a low-cost option like Medicaid Managed Care or a different Essential Plan based on your pregnancy or giving birth. If NY State of Health is not aware of your pregnancy, we recommend you contact them at 1-855-355-5777 (TTY: 1-800-662-1220).

Right now, you can continue to see the same doctors you have been seeing. Once your coverage ends on June 30, 2026, your provider network may be different depending on the coverage you move to. Most of our healthcare providers will accept our Essential Plan, Medicaid, and Ambetter from Fidelis Care Qualified Health Plan members. To check:
